Mid-Century Heritage Quilts

One of my fun quilting projects is making Mid-Century Heritage Quilts.

These quilts go back to some of quilting's original ideas. This also adds a bit of fun searching out the fabric—I get to go to garage sales and estate sales.

Nowadays, I've added Web surfing to my searches for these vintage fabrics and quilt blocks.

Of course this is a tough search because I have to spend hours trudging through these sales. In each adventure, I'm looking for old embroidered dish towels, pillowcases, old quilt blocks, and other linens from this time period.
You can be part of this quilting adventure.

If you have some of these fine old vintage-heritage items for sale or for use in a Mid-Century Heritage Quilt, please tell me.
